Miami & the Groovers are one of the most popular independent rock band in Italy. Founded in 2000 by Lorenzo Semprini, leader, songwriter and singer, Miami & The Groovers have produced four studio albums (Dirty Roads in 2005, Merry Go Round in 2008, Good Things in 2012, The Ghost King in 2015), a cd / dvd live box (No way back in 2013), two eps (Are you ready in 2008, Biancorosso in 2011), receiving critical acclaim and a passionate and large following.
The band has had the opportunity to realize many collaborations, both in the studio and live, with artists such as Alejandro Escovedo, Willie Nile, Joe D'Urso, Jono Manson, Antonio Gramentieri, Southside Johnny, Bill Toms, Elliott Murphy, Jake Clemons, Joel Guzman, Jesse Malin, Graziano Romani, Gang, Alex Valle and many others.
Lorenzo Semprini also participated in different editions of the American and European Light of day, sharing the stage with artists such as Greg Trooper, Marah, John Rzeznik (Goo Goo Dolls), Steve Conte (New York Dolls), Bruce Springsteen, etc.

The components of the band are Lorenzo Semprini (vocals, harmonica, guitar), Beppe Ardito (guitars and vocals), Marco Ferri (drums), Luca Angelici (bass and vocals), Alessio Raffaelli (piano, organ and accordion). For the "Ghost King Tour" the band also feature the talented Federico Mecozzi playing the violin.
